Purchasing the NFT Card Packs

Users can begin playing by purchasing an NFT card pack for their favorite sport. These card packs are randomized before the pack is “opened”. Upon opening a pack, a set number of randomized virtual trading cards are minted and revealed to its owner. Depending on which pack is purchased, the cards that come in every pack may include a mix of Common, Rare, Super Rare, and Legendary cards.

The NFTs are available in 6 different packs: Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. The Starter packs are the most affordable, while the Diamond packs, sitting on the opposite end of the spectrum, are the priciest.

Although all the cards are randomized, depending on the specific type of pack purchased, not only will different packs contain NFTs of varying rarity, but the number of cards included in the packs will differ as well.

For instance, the Starter pack, which costs $30, includes just 1 card, which has the higher chance to get legendary card. On the other end, the Diamond pack, priced at $2500, includes a total of 153 cards, 15 of which will be guaranteed to be of legendary status.

The various packs cater to the different types of fantasy sports players and their preferred playing style. For instance, the Starter pack might best be suited for someone wanting to get a feel for owning an NFT card, or a fan on a budget who wants to begin their collection. On the other end, a Diamond pack might appeal to whales, who wish to rent out their cards, instead of playing themselves.

Let’s take another quick example. Somewhere in the middle sits the Bronze pack, which can be purchased for $150. The Bronze pack contains a total of 6 cards. In addition to 3 common cards, the pack includes 1 rare card, 1 super rare, and last but not least, 1 legendary card.

The $CUBIX token will be available cross-chain, meaning it will be live on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) as well as on Polygon. Therefore, users will be able to purchase individual NFT cards that have already been revealed on Cubix marketplace & Opensea, the largest secondary marketplace on Ethereum & Polygon.

To play, users are required to draft their picks from the NFT cards available to them. They will have to pay special attention when selecting their Captain and

Vice-Captain, since the Captain nets 2x points, whereas the Vice-Captain nets the team 1.5x points.

Once users have their players lined up in their team, they can wait for the match to begin. Note that the only way a player can be drafted on the team is if the user owns the player’s NFT card. If a user’s team is incomplete, they will have the option to trade their unwanted NFT cards directly on the Cubix NFT marketplace, so that they can complete their dream team and begin the game.

During gameplay, points are assigned based on the real-life performance of the NFT card players. The team with the most points accumulated at the end of the Tournament wins. (Winnings will vary depending on the size of the pool, as well as on the type of gameplay.)

In other words, Cubix users have the opportunity to win twice. First, they can win the matches they play. Second, they can win valuable NFT player cards at the point of purchase, which they will be free to either use in a future match, sell to make a profit, or trade in exchange for a card the user wants.
